Fresh off a Derby win, the Melbourne Stars are back at the ‘G on Tuesday night and ready to turn the volume up against the Adelaide Strikers, in our fresh First Nations kit. The momentum is building, the green is out in full force and we’re calling on Stars fans to help fill the MCG with noise, colour and belief. Get here early to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy all the off-field action including face painting, the DODO photo booth, Stars inflatables and plenty of giveaways, before the Stars take centre stage as the race to finals is on!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Car:
    If you’re planning to drive to the game, parking is available for $10 by EFTPOS only from these times at Yarra Park. Note that parking may reach capacity prior to match start.

    Train:
    There are two train stations near the MCG – Jolimont and Richmond.

    If you are travelling to the MCG via the Hurstbridge or Mernda lines, get off at Jolimont station.

    If you are travelling via the Lilydale/Belgrave, Alamein, Glen Waverley, Frankston, Dandenong, Pakenham, Cranbourne or Sandringham lines, you can get off at Richmond station.

    The MCG is a short walk from either of these train stations.

    Tram:
    There are 3 tram routes that will get you to the MCG.

    • Route 75 (City – Vermont South)
    • Route 45/48 (Docklands/City – North Balwyn)
    • Route 70 (Docklands/City – Surrey Hills)

    Each of these tram stops is a short walk to the ground.

    Bus:
    The Route 246 (Elsternwick – Clifton Hill) stops along Punt Road, which a short walk from the ground.

    Taxi
    Taxi ranks will be available after the match, otherwise the ground is a pleasant 15-minute walk from the city. If you wish to hail a taxi, there are three ranks located near the MCG:

    • Pullman Hotel (corner of Clarendon Street and Wellington Parade)
    • On Olympic Boulevard outside Rod Laver Arena
    • Jolimont Terrace

  • Member Match Access

    Your memberships are your passes into the MCG! Please arrive early to ensure you have plenty of time to enter the venue.

    VIP, Premium Reserved and Gold Members:
    You can enter the MCG using your physical membership card or access your member ticket(s) via the 'My Events' section in your Stars membership account here: https://strs.co/MyEvents. Select the ‘My Tickets’ section and download your tickets into your Apple or Google wallet for easy access into the MCG.

    MCC Stars Members:
    Enter via Gate 2 using your MCC membership card.

    Other Stars Members:
    Access your member ticket(s) via the 'My Events' section in your Stars membership account here: https://strs.co/MyEvents. Select the ‘My Tickets’ section and download your tickets into your Apple or Google wallet for easy access into the MCG. Stars Insider members will need to purchase tickets to access this match.

    Member Hub / Help
    The Melbourne Stars membership hub is located outside Gate 3 of the MCG and will be open on match night for membership sales and membership customer service enquiries.
