Melbourne Stars fans will have a new opportunity to be rewarded this summer, with Intrepid Travel launching a new initiative, the ‘Cricket Passport’.
Intrepid Travel, which has just extended its partnership with the Stars for a third season, will be providing travel rewards for those who attend Melbourne Stars WBBL and BBL matches across the 2026/27 campaign.
In what will provide fans massive travel savings, the Cricket Passport provides a $100 travel discount for each game attended across both WBBL|12 and BBL|16.
Come the end of the season, members will be rewarded for each time they scanned through the gates.
James Rosengarten, the General Manager of the Melbourne Stars, is excited to see this activation come to life.
“We are constantly looking at new ways to reward our fans for their on-going support of the club, and Intrepid Travel have found a great way to do that this season,” Rosengarten said.
“Intrepid Travel have been a sensational support of the Stars for the past two seasons and we’re excited to be able to share their services with our fans.
“I think this will be our biggest Big Bash season yet and we are really appreciative of Intrepid Travel’s support in helping grow the game in Melbourne.”
Brett Mitchell, Managing Director ANZ at Intrepid Travel, said the Cricket Passport was a great way to thank Stars fans for their support.
“Cricket and travel are both about the experiences you share along the way," Mitchell said.
“We’re proud to be back with the Stars for a third season, and the Cricket Passport is a great way to give something back to fans and help them get out there and explore the world.”
After joining the Stars ahead of BBL|14, Intrepid Travel is set to continue as both a Platinum Partner and the Official Travel Partner of the club this summer.
For a third consecutive season, Intrepid Travel will feature on the back of the Stars’ playing and training kit.
