Greenworks extends to continue powering the Stars

The Melbourne Stars are delighted to announce an extension of their partnership with Greenworks Australia for the next two seasons.

After joining the Stars ahead of BBL|15, Greenworks will continue as a Premier Partner and become the club’s Official Powered Gardening Equipment Partner across both the BBL and WBBL teams.

Greenworks branding will feature prominently on Stars playing helmets and caps, as well as selected training apparel, throughout the BBL and WBBL home-and-away seasons.

The expanded partnership will also bring Greenworks to life through match-day signage and activations, digital campaigns, member communications and fan engagement opportunities.

Greenworks’ innovative battery-powered outdoor equipment and focus on zero-emission technology align naturally with the Stars’ commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact.

James Rosengarten, the General Manager of the Melbourne Stars, said the club was pleased to build on the successful first season of the partnership.

“We’re really excited to be extending our partnership with Greenworks Australia for another two seasons,” Rosengarten said.

“Greenworks is an innovative brand with strong Victorian roots and values that align closely with the Melbourne Stars.

“After a positive first season together, we’re looking forward to expanding the partnership across both our BBL and WBBL teams and creating more opportunities for Greenworks to connect with our members and fans.”

Greenworks Australia’s Managing Director, Adam Duggan, said the company was excited to deepen its relationship with the Stars.

“We’re proud to extend our partnership with the Melbourne Stars and strengthen our involvement across both the BBL and WBBL programs,” Duggan said.

“The Stars provide a fantastic platform to showcase the performance, versatility and sustainability benefits of Greenworks products to cricket fans across Victoria and Australia.”
