The Melbourne Stars have named an unchanged squad for Thursday night’s clash with the Sydney Sixers.
After 68,124 fans – the third-largest crowd in BBL history – filled the MCG on Sunday night, the Stars will be hoping for another strong attendance for their second-last home game of the home and away season.
This encounter could play a significant role in shaping the finals series, as the Stars hold a 4-2 record, sitting just clear of the Sixers (3-3).
Thursday night will also be a chance to celebrate Peter Siddle, who is playing his 100th BBL game.
The 41-year-old is in his second season with the Stars, having previously represented the Renegades and Strikers.
Siddle is currently the equal-leading wicket taker in the competition, with 12 wickets at an average of 14.58 from his six games.
