The Melbourne Stars have added English batter Sam Hain and Victorian batter Blake Macdonald to their list as replacement players for BBL|15.
The duo, who have both joined the Stars in Brisbane, have been named in the 14-player squad to face the Heat on Friday night.
Hain, who was already in Queensland, has been drafted as an international replacement player for the next four matches after Joe Clarke sustained a hip injury while batting against the Thunder on Sunday night.
Clarke will continue to be assessed over the coming days for a return date to play.
Hain has previously played 16 games in the BBL for the Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes and has also represented England in two ODIs.
Macdonald will be wearing green for the remainder of the summer as a local replacement player for the injured Mark Steketee.
Steketee was ruled out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury prior to the season.
Macdonald impressed with 79 and 109* in his most recent Sheffield Shield game for Victoria and has been a part of the Stars Academy squad.
Friday night's match at The Gabba will be the Stars’ fourth consecutive game on the road, before they return to the MCG for the Melbourne Derby on Sunday.
