The Melbourne Stars have secured signatures from three of their finest local players, with Kim Garth, Meg Lanning and captain Annabel Sutherland locked in for WBBL|12.
The trio, who have played international cricket across all three formats of the game, bring a wealth of experience to the Stars' squad.
Sutherland, at just 24 years of age, has played 110 WBBL matches and proves a threat with both bat and ball in hand.
Garth, in her eighth WBBL campaign, took 14 wickets at an average of 16.50, while Lanning secured the BKT Golden Bat Award after leading the league with 430 runs in the home and away season.
These contracts were signed prior to the opening of the WBBL player movement period on Tuesday.
