The Melbourne Stars are proud to announce a new partnership with Greenworks Australia, a global leader in sustainable battery-powered outdoor equipment, for the upcoming BBL|15 season.
Greenworks will become a Premier Partner of the Melbourne Stars, with their logo featuring on the players’ helmets and caps during the BBL this summer.
The Stars’ newest partner will also feature on the helmet of the WBBL team for the remainder of the season, after first being sighted last Thursday night during Meg Lanning’s incredible 135 off 74 balls.
Greenworks’ innovative, zero-emission technology complements the Stars’ commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
“We are excited to welcome Greenworks Australia to the Stars Family for the upcoming BBL|15 season," General Manager of the Melbourne Stars, Max Abbott, said.
“Summer is all about getting outdoors and I know a number of our players and staff like to maintain their garden spaces as a hobby away from the game.
“We’re always seeking to work with partners who are environmentally conscious and Greenworks share these values with us. We look forward to amplifying their products and positive message throughout the season.”
Greenworks Australia Managing Director, Adam Duggan, echoed the excitement.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Melbourne Stars. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality performance, eco-friendly solutions, and we look forward to promoting these products to Stars fans and members across the Summer of Cricket.”
