The Melbourne Stars have named an unchanged squad for their clash with the Perth Scorchers on Friday.
After its season opener against the Strikers was abandoned in the second innings due to rain, Melbourne will have the same 13 players fly to Adelaide for game two of WBBL|11.
Meg Lanning top-scored on Monday with 60 (41), and she’ll be looking to continue that form at Karen Rolton Oval in what will be her 100th WBBL match.
The opening bat spent two seasons in Perth from 2018, where she played 15 of those 100 games in orange.
In her 99 matches to date, Lanning has tallied 3,227 runs at an average of 38.87.
Friday’s clash on the road will be the Scorchers’ home game, getting underway at 3:40pm (AEDT).
