Bumper WBBL|11 Fixture revealed
With a playing list boasting international superstars Annabel Sutherland, Marizanne Kapp, Meg Lanning, Amy Jones and Danielle Gibson, fans will get closer than ever to their heroes, the feature being the Melbourne Derby on Sunday, 16th November at a family friendly time of 1:40pm.
The Stars will open their season on Monday, 10th November at 3:10pm against Adelaide Strikers, with tickets to go on sale next month.
Fans can secure their seats to all BBL and WBBL matches early by securing an early bird discount on Stars Memberships now.
Along with five appearances at the CitiPower Centre, the Stars will play away games in Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney and Brisbane.
General Manager Max Abbott said the fixture reflects the long-term commitment of the Stars to elevate the experience for fans attending WBBL fixtures.
“We want to turn the CitiPower Centre green this WBBL and make it a difficult place for opposition teams to come and win.
“Part of that is establishing it as our home for five matches this season ahead of the installation of lights following this season, which will allow the venue to host marquee time slots from WBBL|12 onwards.
“We’ve got an incredible list at the Stars and I encourage everyone to get their tickets to come and watch the best cricketers in the world up close in a family-friendly atmosphere at CitiPower Centre."
