Stars and Dodo the Real Deal after bumper BBL

Melbourne Stars are thrilled to announce that Australian owned telecommunications provider Dodo have extended their relationship with the club as principal partner for the next two years.

Dodo will remain on the front of both the BBL and WBBL playing kits and feature on in-bowl signage at all Stars matches, as well as on the dugout and field of play at the MCG and Junction Oval.

Supporting the Stars’ mission to be Melbourne’s blockbuster summer sporting club, Dodo will also continue to elevate the matchday experience at home games with interactive activations that connect fans and players.

“To have Dodo commit to the club for a further two years is a great show of faith in our partnership and what we have been able to achieve together over the past two seasons,” said Melbourne Stars General Manager Max Abbott.

“The Melbourne Stars consistently deliver huge TV audiences and marquee games and we’re grateful to have a loyal Principal Partner that is as committed as we are to providing great experiences for our members and fans.

“Off the back of our performances at the end of the BBL last year, there is huge momentum building at the club and with another massive summer of cricket ahead of us, we look forward to connecting more cricket fans around Australia to Dodo and their services.”

"We’ve built a fantastic partnership with the Stars over the past two seasons, and we’re thrilled to continue the journey,” said Tony Timpanaro, General Manager of Marketing (Consumer) at Vocus.

“On and off the field, the Stars have proven they’re the real deal - that mix of ambition, impact and genuine engagement with their fans makes them a perfect fit with the values of the Dodo brand. We’re proud to keep supporting cricket and the community around it.”
