An IPL Final, a retirement announcement and preparation for the WTC were all on the agenda for our Stars overseas.
Stars Abroad: Stoinis' Punjab falls short, Maxi's ODI retirement
Stars skipper Marcus Stoinis has just missed out on an IPL title, with his Punjab Kings going down to RCB in the final by 6 runs.
Stoinis was required late in the innings and hit his first ball for 6 but then was dismissed. Previously, he took a wicket and was there at the end in the semifinal as Punjab sealed their place.
Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell will now head to the USA for the MLC.
Earlier in the week, Maxwell announced his retirement from ODI cricket after 149 matches.
Meanwhile, Scott Boland is preparing for the WTC Final at Lord's, completing numerous sessions at home each week before departing for the UK.
Last year's number 1 draft pick, Ben Duckett, has bookended the England vs West Indies ODI series with scores of 58 and 60 as his hot form continues.
