Stars Abroad: New homes for IPL Stars

Plenty of Stars past and present were nominated in the IPL Auction plus Stoinis goes big in the UAE.

Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis have been picked up by the Delhi Captials in the recent IPL auction, coached by Ricky Ponting.

Stoinis has hit some hot form smashing 42 from 16 and 42 from 18 in his last two hit outs in the Abu Dhabi T10 tournament. This comes off his strong finish to the Australian T20s where he made 61* from 27 deliveries to be named player of the match in the final T20 against Pakistan.

Maxwell meanwhile will be focusing on his rehabilitation as he fights to be fit for the start of the BBL after suffering a hamstring injury in the final T20 against Pakistan.

Campbell Kellaway broke through for his maiden First Class ton with 122 in the second innings against Queensland.

Tom Rogers made 69 in the second innings, continuing his hot form with the bat, whilst Sam Harper took 6 catches for the match.

Beau Webster continued his case for a test debut making another 49 and 61 with the bat against NSW as well as taking 3 wickets.

Hilton Cartwright and Joel Paris have enjoyed solid starts to the season with Paris taking 5 wickets in the first innings of their draw against South Australia.
