Fast bowler Brody Couch has put pen to paper on a one-year extension with the Stars.
Couch comfy for BBL|14
With limited opportunities over the last two seasons, Couch will be keen to get back to the form that saw him take 16 wickets in his debut season in BBL|11.
Having recently made the move to WA, Couch has spent the last couple of winters in the US with the San Francisco Unicorns in MLC.
“Having the opportunity to play in the US this winter has been a great experience which has helped me to continue to improve my skills,” said Couch.
“I’ve learnt a lot over the last 3 years with the Stars, I love playing in the Big Bash and hopefully I can help contribute to the team in BBL|14.”
Blair Crouch said the fast bowler is an important addition to squad for the upcoming season.
“Brody has put in a mountain of work over the last couple of years without much reward in terms of game time.
“He is a wonderful member of the squad and we feel like he can play a big role for us this season with his continued improvement.”
