The Melbourne Stars have landed Pick 1 in the upcoming BBL Overseas Player Draft.

In the draft lottery conducted by the BBL, the Stars had 3 chances to land Pick 1, alongside the Adelaide Strikers (2 chances) and Hobart Hurricanes (1 chance).

Last season, the Stars took Trent Boult with Pick 3, after bidding on Rashid Khan who was retained by the Adelaide Strikers.
