Mignon du Preez returned to the Melbourne Stars in WBBL|03 after playing with the club as a foundation player.
Du Preez played all 14 matches for the Stars in WBBL|04 and finished with 266 runs to her name, making her our second-highest run scorer behind fellow South African Lizelle Lee.
The South African brings a wealth of experience to the Stars line-up after representing the Proteas in all forms of the game on over 170 separate occasions. She has made 1166 runs from 64 innings in her T20 international career and has an impressive strike rate of 95.96.
The right-hander has spent the winter in England, playing for Sussex Women and also the Southern Vipers in the Women’s Super Cricket League.
