The squad includes new faces including captain Elyse Villani, rising star Tess Flintoff, as well as replacement player Madeline Penna from the ACT.
Penna will also be joined by bowler Chloe Rafferty as a replacement player for the Stars.
The W/BBL Technical Committee has approved the additions of Penna and Rafferty to the squad as injury replacement players for Alana King and Lucy Cripps respectively. King sustained an injury to her thumb in a practice match earlier this week while Cripps is recovering from a stress and tendon injury in her foot.
Holly Ferling will miss this weekend’s fixtures due to a pelvic injury while Angela Reakes is sidelined after rupturing her Achilles prior to the WBBL season.
The Stars will face the Hobart Hurricanes this Saturday and Sunday at CitiPower Centre from 2pm.
