THE RESULT
Coming off the back of a tough loss, the Melbourne Stars rebounded to secure victory by six wickets against the Renegades at Marvel Stadium.
Bowling first, the Stars had a fast start as quick Haris Rauf ripped through the Renegades top order.
Rauf’s two early wickets had the Renegades reeling at 2/16, but it was Aaron Finch (45) and Jake Fraser- McGurk (32) who held down the fort for the Renegades, taking their total to 7-122.
Leg-spinner Adam Zampa (2/18) joined in on the action dismissing Harvey (8) and Prestwidge (6), while Qais Ahmed (2/15 from four overs) and Brody Couch (1/24) proved to be a difficult challenge for the Renegades batters.
The chase saw captain Glenn Maxwell (68*) open the batting for the first time this season, passing fifty for the second time in BBL11.
It took 14.3 overs for Maxwell and the Stars to chase down the 122-run total and secure their third win of the season.

THE MOMENT
Who other than Haris Rauf to create another memorable moment in his last match for BBL|11?!
Last match it was the ‘Covid Celebration’ and tonight it was his electric bowling that saw him make magic at Marvel.
Causing tension in the Renegades line up early, Rauf took two early wickets dismissing Renegades captain Nic Maddinson for a duck and Shaun Marsh out for seven.
