It was a victory built on strong performances from the Stars bowlers with Annabel Sutherland taking 3-21 from her four overs.
Sutherland was well supported by the in-form Kim Garth and Tess Flintoff who both took two wickets.
Having won the toss and elected to bat, the Heat were on the back foot early as Heat opener Georgia Redmayne fell to Garth in the first over.
Big hitter Grace Harris contributed a quick fire 28 and Mikayla Hinkley added 20 and but for the late salvo from Nicola Hancock, no other Heat batter broke double figures as the Stars ran riot.
Chasing just 96 for victory, Elyse Villani clubbed 26 to get the chase moving before Meg Lanning (27*) and Maia Bouchier (32*) steered Team Green comfortably home.
