Four changes to squad for away derby

08 January 2016

The Melbourne Stars have made four changes to their squad for the derby against the Renegades at Etihad Stadium on January 9.

The Melbourne Stars has made some significant changes to the 13-player squad selected for tomorrow’s Derby against the Renegades following the departure of Maxwell, Faulkner and Boland to the Australian ODI squad.

Coming into squad for the first time is Victorian Seb Gotch and South Australian paceman Dan Worrall, while Rob Quiney and Ben Hilfenhaus return for what is shaping up to be a sell-out battle for Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

The Stars will be looking for someone to step up and take over Scott Boland’s role who, along with John Hastings, was widely applauded for their bowling at the death during Wednesday night’s convincing win against the Hurricanes at the MCG.
