Jess Cameron is one of three new additions to the Melbourne Stars’ squad for the second instalment of the Women’s Big Bash League.
Having represented Australia on over 100 occasions, Cameron will strengthen the Stars’ line-up with 941 T20 international runs under her belt.
The right-hander claimed Victorian Premier Cricket’s highest accolade - the Una Paisley Medal - last season after scoring 578 runs in only seven matches for Prahran.
Along with some impressive batting skills, Cameron played a key role for Melbourne’s Women’s AFL team, participating in both 2016 exhibition matches. She subsequently has been drafted to Collingwood.
With a wealth of international experience, Cameron is an exciting addition to the Stars and will bolster the team’s batting depth.
