Emma Inglis

With a new position at the top of the Melbourne Stars’ batting order in WBBL|02, Inglis had a fantastic tournament with both the bat and the gloves.

Opening the batting with captain Meg Lanning, Inglis was the Stars’ second highest run-scorer for the season with 286 runs, and made her first ever half-century for the team against the Hobart Hurricanes.

Inglis also started the tournament well, scoring 46 off 28 in the very first match, including a big six out of North Sydney Oval.

The wicket-keeper also took nine dismissals in WBBL|02 with her lightning glove-work, placing her in the competition’s top five overall.
