With two games against the Hobart Hurricanes for our girls in their quest for a finals berth, 14 of our players have been selected in the squad. Hayley Jensen hasn't been included after suffering a hamstring injury in our game against the Adelaide Strikers.
Last time we played the Hurricanes our girls suffered a six-wicket defeat, with the bowlers from across the Tasman proving too good for our batters, so we know the girls are determined to change that result this weekend.
Currently sitting in fourth position on the WBBL ladder, our girls need to get back on the winners list to stay in contention for finals.
With the girls playing two games against the Hurricanes at Blundstone Arena, strap yourselves in for some fantastic games of cricket! Our Friday match will kick off at 5.30pm, with the girls then playing again at 11.45am on Saturday morning. You can catch Friday's games LIVE on the WBBL Facebook page or on cricket.com.au and Saturday's game LIVE on Channel 10.

Sciv is definitely who the Hurricanes need to look out for in our two clashes. A standout the last time we played the Canes, making the second-most runs with 20 and snagging two wickets for just 23 runs off four overs. Sciv was also our best performer in our last match against the Scorchers so we know she can dig in when the team is up against it. Let’s hope Sciv can do have another superb performance at Blundstone Areana!
