Stars announce away Derby squads

06 January 2017

Stars make one change to men's squad while women's squad remains unchanged.

Rob Quiney returns to the men's squad with Seb Gotch missing out.

Coming off a loss in their last matches, both teams will be looking to bounce back against the Renegades tomorrow.

In their last encounter, the Stars men's team suffered a close loss to the Thunder while the women's team were defeated by the Scorchers by nine wickets yesterday.

One to Watch

Rob Quiney

Bobby is back!  We know you’re all sitting there reading this doing a little happy dance. But don’t worry, we did exactly the same knowing that Bobby is back in the squad to take on the Renegades. Top-scoring in his only game this season with 75, we think he is one to watch out for.

Kristen Beams

We know Beamsy has only had one game back from injury but she was tremendously economical in our match against the Scorchers. Although she was unable to snag a wicket, Beamsy bowled four overs for only 15 runs. We know just how good she can be and with a Derby on the agenda, we reckon Beamsy will be crucial in our attack on the Renegades’ batting line-up.

WBBL match starts at 2.35pm
BBL match starts at 7.10pm
